Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Beat Visualizer free?
Yes, completely free. No account, no subscription, no upload — everything runs locally in your browser.
Does it record my microphone?
No. Audio is processed entirely in real time using the Web Audio API inside your browser. Nothing is sent to any server.
Why does the 3D sphere load slightly slower?
Three.js is loaded on demand only when you switch to 3D Sphere mode. This keeps the initial load fast for the other four effects.
Can I use it on mobile?
Yes. All controls are touch-friendly (minimum 44px). Particle count is automatically halved on small screens for smooth frame rates.
What if my screen keeps turning off?
The tool uses the Screen Wake Lock API to prevent sleep while running. If your browser does not support it, it will silently ignore the feature.
