Features

📷

Continuous capture

Aim, tap the shutter, and the next page is ready instantly — dozens of pages without confirming each one.

📐

Automatic page straightening

Paper edges are detected and a perspective transform flattens the tilted photo into a rectangular page.

📖

Two-page spread splitting

Shoot the open book once; the gutter is found by column-brightness projection and the shot becomes two pages.

🎚️

Scanner-grade filters

B&W document mode with adaptive thresholding, grayscale, color boost, plus brightness and contrast sliders.

📚

A local bookshelf

Every book, page and cover lives in IndexedDB on your device, with reading progress remembered between visits.

🔒

Nothing is uploaded

Camera frames, image processing and PDF assembly all run in your browser — no server, no account, free.

How to Use

1

Create a book

Give it a title and optional author, pick a cover, and the camera opens right away.

2

Shoot every page

Hold the book flat, tap the big shutter button for each page, or import photos you already took from your album.

3

Fine-tune if needed

Tap any page to drag its corners, rotate, trim edges, split a spread or apply a filter to the whole book.

4

Read or export

Read it in the full-screen page-turning reader, or export the book as a PDF (A4/A5/Letter/auto) or a ZIP of images.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my book photos uploaded anywhere?
No. The camera stream, edge detection, perspective correction and PDF generation all happen locally in your browser, and pages are stored in your own device's IndexedDB.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free with no sign-up and no page limit other than your device's storage.
Can I use it without a camera?
Yes. If the camera is unavailable or permission is denied, use "Import from album" to add photos you already took; they are appended in file-name order.
How do I scan a book that lies open?
Turn on "Split two-page spreads" in the scanner settings. Each shot of the open book is split at the gutter into a left and a right page, and you can nudge the split position afterwards.
Will the pages stay after I close the browser?
Yes. Books, pages and reading progress persist in IndexedDB. Clearing site data in your browser will remove them, so export important books to PDF.
What PDF options are available?
Choose page size (fit original, A4, A5 or Letter), image quality (high, medium, low), page margin, and whether the title and author are written into the PDF metadata.
