Preguntas frecuentes
What is the 440Hz tone for?
440Hz is the standard concert pitch A4. It's a reference tone used to tune instruments and verify speaker calibration.
How does the frequency sweep work?
Plays frequencies from 20Hz (low bass) to 20kHz (high treble) over several seconds. If you don't hear the extremes, your speakers may be lacking bass or treble response.
What should I listen for?
Crackling or distortion indicates a damaged speaker. Missing frequencies (especially at the sweep extremes) indicate limited frequency response.
Is my data sent to a server?
No. All audio is generated locally using Web Audio API oscillators. No network requests are made.
