Frequently Asked Questions
How does call discovery work?
Uses PeerJS Lobby for automatic peer discovery on LAN. Fixed Lobby Peer IDs allow immediate discovery without manual room codes.
What is the call state machine?
idle → calling → ringing → in-call. Shows calling animation until answered.
Can I toggle video on/off?
Yes. During a call, click the video button to toggle camera on/off.
Is my call data sent to a server?
Only signaling goes through PeerJS. Audio/video streams are direct P2P via WebRTC.
