Frequently Asked Questions

Is this calendar really free?
Yes. It is entirely free, with no registration, no subscription, and no ads in the calendar itself.
Which countries are supported?
Currently: China (Mainland), Hong Kong, Taiwan, United States, Japan, United Kingdom, Germany, France, South Korea, and Singapore.
Does it support the Chinese lunar calendar?
Yes. For Chinese regions each day shows the lunar date, the current lunar month, and any matching solar term. Lunar-based festivals (Spring Festival, Mid-Autumn, etc.) are automatically converted to the correct Gregorian date every year, covering 1900–2100.
Are floating holidays like Easter or US federal Monday holidays included?
We list fixed-date public holidays plus lunar-based festivals. Floating holidays tied to weekdays (Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day) are not algorithmically computed yet — check the FAQ for roadmap notes.
Does my country or region setting persist?
Yes. Country, week-start (Sunday/Monday), and view mode are saved in your browser's localStorage and restored the next time you visit.
Can I use keyboard shortcuts?
Absolutely. Left/Right arrows change the month, Up/Down change the year, and T jumps to today. You can also scroll the calendar with your mouse wheel.
