How to Use

1

Enter the original size

Type the source width and height, or pick a preset such as 1920×1080, Instagram Story or A4 at 300 DPI.

2

Choose how to resize

Keep the lock on for proportional results, then set a target width, target height, or a scale percentage.

3

Read and copy the result

The result card shows the final width × height, total megapixels and scale factor. Copy the whole size or just one side.

4

Go further if needed

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the size converter free?
Yes. Every feature is free with no signup, no watermark and no usage limit.
Does it upload my images?
There are no images involved — the tool works purely with numbers, and all calculations run locally in your browser.
What is the difference between contain and cover?
Contain scales the image down until it fits entirely inside the container, leaving letterbox margins. Cover scales it up until the container is completely filled, cropping the overflow.
How does DPI affect px to cm conversion?
Pixels only have a physical size once a DPI is chosen. At 300 DPI one inch equals 300 px, so 2480 px is 21 cm — the width of an A4 page.
Why would I force even numbers?
Many video codecs such as H.264 require even width and height. Enable the option in advanced settings and every pixel result is snapped to an even number.
Can I share my calculation?
Yes. Click the share button to create a link that restores your original size, units, DPI, target mode and batch list.
