Frequently Asked Questions

Is the time calculator free?
Yes, it is completely free with no signup, ads, or usage limits.
How is the date difference calculated?
The years/months/days breakdown uses the real calendar, correctly handling leap years and the different number of days in each month. Total days, hours, minutes, and seconds are computed from the exact elapsed time.
Why are months and years marked as approximate?
There is no fixed number of days in a month or year, so unit conversion uses averages of 30.44 days per month and 365.25 days per year. These values are clearly marked as approximate.
Is my data private?
Yes. Every calculation happens entirely in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server unless you explicitly create a share link.
Can I share a calculation?
Yes. Use the share button to generate a link that restores the exact mode and inputs you were using.
