Features

🔒

Nothing Is Uploaded

Conversion runs locally with FFmpeg.wasm. Your videos never touch a server, so even confidential footage stays private.

🎞️

Every Common Format

Read MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, FLV, TS, 3GP and more; write MP4, WebM, MKV, MOV, AVI, GIF or audio-only MP3, AAC and WAV.

🎛️

Full Encoder Control

Pick libx264, libx265, VP8 or VP9, set CRF or a target bitrate, choose resolution up to 4K, frame rate and encoding speed preset.

🔇

Strip or Re-encode Audio

Keep the original track, remove it entirely with one click, or re-encode to AAC, MP3 or Opus at 64–320 kbps.

⚡

Instant Remux Mode

Choose the copy codec to swap containers without re-encoding — an MKV becomes an MP4 in seconds with zero quality loss.

📦

Batch Queue & ZIP Download

Drop in several files, convert them one after another with per-file progress, then download everything as a single ZIP.

✂️

Trim While Converting

Set a start and end time to export just the part you need instead of the whole clip.

🧮

Live Size Estimate

See a projected output size as you move the CRF slider or change resolution, before spending time on the encode.

How to Use

1

Add your videos

Drag files onto the page, click to browse, or paste from the clipboard. Select several at once to build a conversion queue.

2

Choose an output format

Tap MP4, WebM, MKV, MOV, AVI or GIF — or an audio-only format to extract the soundtrack.

3

Pick a preset or fine-tune

Use a one-click preset such as social media or high-quality archive, or open Advanced settings for codec, CRF, resolution, frame rate, audio and trimming.

4

Convert and download

Press Start converting and watch the progress bar. Preview each result in the built-in player, then download it individually or grab all of them as a ZIP.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. The converter uses FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly, so every frame is decoded and encoded inside your browser tab. The tool works offline once loaded and your files never leave your computer.
Is it really free?
Yes. There is no account, no watermark, no file-count limit and no paid tier. The only practical limits are your device's memory and patience.
Which formats can I convert between?
Input covers MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM, FLV, M4V, TS, 3GP, WMV and MPG. Output covers MP4 (H.264/H.265), WebM (VP8/VP9), MKV, MOV, AVI, animated GIF, and audio-only MP3, AAC or WAV.
Why is conversion slower than a desktop app?
Browser sandboxes run WebAssembly without hardware video acceleration, and many browsers restrict multi-threading. For long or 4K footage, lower the resolution, trim the clip, or use the copy codec to remux instead of re-encode.
What does the CRF slider do?
CRF is a constant-quality target. Lower values mean better quality and larger files; higher values mean smaller files. 18 is near-lossless, 23 is a good default and 28 or above is best for quick sharing.
How do I remove the sound from a video?
Open Advanced settings, choose Remove audio under the Audio section, then convert. You can also use the Silent clip preset, which applies the same setting in one tap.
How can I convert a video to GIF?
Select GIF as the output format. The tool builds an optimized colour palette in the same pass, so the animation looks noticeably better than a plain 256-colour conversion. Keep GIFs short and small — they are much larger than video.
