Frequently Asked Questions

Is this wireframe maker free?
Yes. Every feature — all components, templates, PNG export and JSON project files — is free with no sign-up or watermark.
Is my design uploaded to a server?
No. The whole editor runs in your browser and your canvas is stored locally in IndexedDB, so nothing ever leaves your device.
Can I paste the wireframe straight into a document?
Yes. Click “Copy image” and the wireframe is written to your clipboard as a PNG, ready to paste into Word, Notion, Figma, Jira or Slack. If your browser blocks clipboard images, use Export PNG instead.
Can I save a project and keep editing later?
Your canvas is auto-saved locally, and you can also export a .wireframe.json file and re-import it on another machine.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
It works on touch devices with drawer panels and pinch-free canvas panning, but a desktop browser is strongly recommended for precise editing.
What keyboard shortcuts are supported?
Delete removes the selection, Ctrl/Cmd+D duplicates, Ctrl/Cmd+Z undoes, Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z redoes, arrow keys nudge (hold Shift for 10 px), and holding Space lets you pan the canvas.
