How to Use

Create or Import a Deck

Start from the built-in sample deck or create a new one. Click Import to paste a batch of entries, with one card per line and fields separated by | or Tab.

Study with Flip Cards

Flip each card to reveal the answer. Navigate with arrow keys or swipe on mobile, and use TTS to hear the pronunciation.

Track Your Mastery

Mark cards as mastered or for review. Switch to 'Unmastered only' mode to focus on what you still need to learn.

Manage & Back Up

Create multiple decks for different subjects, edit entries in list view, and export to JSON or CSV to back up or move your decks between devices.

Is this flashcards tool free?
Yes, it's completely free with no account required. Everything runs in your browser, so there are no usage limits, subscriptions, or hidden costs.
Where is my data stored?
All your decks and mastery progress are saved locally in your browser's IndexedDB. Your data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export it or use the share feature.
How do I import a large word list?
Open the Import dialog and paste your list — one entry per line with fields separated by | or Tab. You can optionally treat the first row as field names. CSV and JSON files can also be imported directly.
Can I use it for languages other than English?
Absolutely. Fields are fully customizable, so you can study any language, scientific terms, historical dates, or any other subject. TTS read-aloud uses your browser's available voices.
What keyboard shortcuts are available?
Press Space to flip the current card, the left/right arrows to move between cards, and the up arrow to mark a card as mastered. On mobile you can swipe left or right to navigate.
Can I share a deck with someone?
Yes. Use the Share button to generate a link to your current deck. The recipient can open the link and add the deck to their own library, all without any account.
